The Gables at Winchester, a 125 apartment Assisted and Independent Living community, upgraded its facility with a series of small projects over a five year period. The approach included a new ‘brand and image’ for the common areas and adding new resident amenities including a new Wellness Center, Theatre, Library/Computer Center and Multipurpose Activity Room/Informal Dining/Server Kitchen adjacent to a new outdoor court. The Theatre and Library/Computer Center were located in ‘underutilized/found’ areas of the building. Site improvements include a new entry court, parking, and exterior terrace along the activity and dining areas.
