33-bed Transitional Care Unit and a 21-bed Acute Rehabilitation Satellite Hospital

To meet growing community needs and current market trends, D’Youville Life and Wellness Community opened an integrated two-story center that represents a new paradigm for rehabilitative services in New England.

The Center brings together the D’Youville Center for Advanced Therapy, providing short-term transitional physical rehabilitative, complex and hospice care services, and the New England Rehabilitation Hospital Satellite at Lowell, providing short-term acute care physical rehabilitative services.

It features a 33-bed Transitional Care Unit on the upper floor (including four complex care and hospice suites), a 21-bed acute rehabilitation satellite hospital on the garden level, and an expanded replacement kitchen serving the entire campus. Each level has its own state of the art rehabilitation gym.
