The new operating room will allow for the recovery of mom and the baby together

The C- Section Operating Suite consists of 2 operating rooms with an adjoining Infant Resuscitation/Stabilization room where staff can evaluate the newborn in a quiet setting to decide whether a stay in the NICU is warranted.

The Suite also contains a 2-bed PreOp/Recovery Suite, Sterile Processing Decontamination and Clean Rooms, staff locker rooms and storage. It is centrally located and adjoins the NICU suite, Postpartum Suite and Nursery.
