Amenity Focused Improvements

Aspenwood Senior Living Community, which houses independent and assisted living residents, commissioned LWDA to design a campus master plan to accommodate growth. The plan proposed the addition of a 45-apartment wing on the eastern edge of the site and renovations to the existing facility, a three-story, 137 apartment building. The design focused on creating open areas to improve resident socialization and participation by renovating the common areas, enlarging the entry and lobby, creating six new activity/common areas/lounges including a dining and activity room for Alzheimer patients, a Wellness Center addition housing a fitness space and therapy pool, and connecting four exterior courts and terraces via a new exterior corridor system.
