Memory Support Residence and Addition

As the population of the existing Remington Club AL community aged, the need for appropriate environments for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments became apparent. The solution was to renovate a wing of the existing building with special “cueing and clueing” needs of people with dementia. A center hub of common spaces including dining, activities, and staff services was created, with new space that focuses on a secure garden. Secure walking loops were developed and alternative living areas provide choice and variety for residents and staff.
