The Heartlands Senior Living Village in Ellicott City is a retirement community in Maryland. Completion of the master plan was followed by renovation of the campus community center.
The study found that much of the community center was in need of upgrading, and it also recommended a new carport entry and a new assisted living building elevator tower. The community center’s first floor wellness/PT/OT renovation and addition was one of the first projects implemented. The new area included an indoor therapy and recreation pool, fitness area, rehabilitation suite, outdoor patio, and salon. Other projects involved the expansion of dining areas, offices, entrance, living room, library, and bistro.
