Five venue servery offering variety of international cuisines
The new 200-seat cafeteria and servery replaces two previous facilities that were displaced by an expanded surgery department. The new food service competes with a variety of local fast food establishments to offer healthy alternatives for busy medical staff and visitors. The five venue servery offers a variety of international cuisines prepared to order and tailored to the preferences of a diverse, multicultural clientele, and has begun to attract patrons from outside the hospital.
The cafeteria dining area, overlooking the main lobby, features a multi-media wall to advertise hospital programs and information, and the adjacent Demonstration Kitchen that is used to teach healthy cooking to patients with nutrition and diet concerns.
